Scoilnet now has a dedicated page for both primary and post primary educational apps. See http://www.scoilnet.ie/apps_primary.shtm and http://www.scoilnet.ie/apps_post_primary.shtm
These apps are reviewed, mapped to the curriculum and give consideration to both android and apple based devices. Teachers and students are encouraged to share information about any free apps they are using in the classroom via the "Contact Us" or "Comments" function.
You may wish to promote these pages through your local dissemination channels, such as websites and newsletters.  


Whole School ICT Training
In addition to scheduled courses, courses can be run as "whole school" events,
These courses can:
take place in your school or in the Education Centre
be customised to the particular needs of your group of staff
cover a range of topics from using digital cameras to developing a website/blog to using the internet in learning and teaching
be as short as a once-off 2.5 hour session to a 20 hour course run over a number of weeks or months
The minimum numbers required to run a course is 10, but smaller schools may wish to consider clustering with another local school.
