Mayo Education Centre Transcription Service
Mayo Education is currently providing a transcription service for
teachers. Our aim is to provide a highly professional, confidential and
efficient service, not only for our teachers but for the wider community.
Use of this service
You provide digital audio to us in Wav or MP3 format.
We transcribe these recordings to Word format.
This service would of benefit to people involved in educational research,
action research modules or educational reports, historical research or in
any area of personal recordings.
Costing per audio minutes (pam) or part thereof
Up to 30 minutes -
31 to 60 minutes -
Over 61 minutes -
All charges are based on cumulative audio minutes.
Transcription on a CD @ €3.00 per CD.
We accept electronic recording, or micro tape.
XD cards or Microtape must be posted to Mayo Education Centre.
We have a limited number of high quality digital recording devices
available for rent at €20 per week. (HR2)

Poor quality recordings may incur an extra charge.
We may also return recordings that cannot be transcribed.
We cannot accept responsibility for any material lost in post.
