Supporting Staff with Mental Health Issues
Mental Health is a dynamic system - shaped by daily pressures, relationships and environments.
This interactive workshop equips school leaders with practical tools to support staff wellbeing while maintaining their own boundaries and self-care.
Learning outcomes: participants will be able to:
- practice simple, effective techniques for approaching mental health conversations
- use case studies to apply these principles
- reflect on their own self-care and boundaries
- learn how to support staff without overextending themselves.

Presenter: Roxanne Mullen - Psychotherapist
Roxane is a qualified and accredited Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist; she holds a Masters degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy and is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy(IAHIP). Through her work, Roxane’s goal is to demystify and normalise Psychotherapy tools, teachings and techniques so that people feel worthy and deserving of the kind of support that can positively.
Spectrum Life
Spectrum Life is the Employee Assistance Service provider for the Department of Education & Youth. This service is available to all school staff employed in recognised Primary and Post-Primary schools. Part of this service is the provision of webinars such as this one to promote wellbeing in schools.
