Doctorate in Education Programme

Since 2009 Mayo Education Centre have been offering a Doctoral programme in association with Lincoln University (UK). Since that time, several graduates have either completed an Ed.D or a Ph.D (Education) Professional, (Ph.D (Prof). Each summer in July the centre offers a full week Department of Education approved summer course in association with Lincoln University where attendees may wish to find out more about what it means to study a Doctorate degree with Lincoln University. In addition, students of the programme attend this week.  

 Attendance Requirements 

The doctoral programme offers students in Ireland the opportunity to access a Doctoral programme remotely with just three requirements per annum to attend tuition. These consist of one weekend in October and one weekend in February together with the residential week in July. The rest of the programme is delivered online or through self-study.
